You can get it done with dark skin.. Its called a NDYAG laser. It works im getting it done this week. Its extremely gentle . Im getting brazilian and underarms done. Im glad u made this video tho its helpful =).

ReplyDeleteii had laser surgery too -- it cost me $1800 and the hair is much much lighter -- I had a total of 7-8 treatments
ReplyDeleteYAG laser is what was used on myself and one of my best friends who is Taye Diggs dark, we have had no issues, but good luck informative video.
ReplyDeleteA lot of those places do not have experience with black skin. You have to go to someone who knows what they are doing. A lot of those dctors do not do laser treatments on a lot of black skin.

ReplyDeleteIm darker Im a Nc50 in MAC foundation and I have had 2 laser hair treatments on my chin and unerarm and Ive had no problems it dosent hurt and the hair on my chin has come back very fine almost gone love it highly recommend it

ReplyDeleteactua;;y they lower the level and add more sessions for darker skin. I need to get this for my face cuz tired of waxing. Where I went in Ny they did a test patch first. Need to stop being a punk and just go

ReplyDeleteThanks for this video. I have been getting laser hair removal. I am darker in color than you. Me and keke palmer have about the same color for reference. Its good to see african american or black women doing videos on laser. Because until recently there werent lasers made for our color or darker. Now they have lasers that can treat any color. But if you go to receive laser and have brown skin make sure its a YAG laser. Just do some research. The laser that is used on me is a Cool Glide YAG laser

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to do LHR but I was always told that I couldn't do it because I'm not fair enough. Plus I saw this woman on Oprah who had it done on her face and she got these HORRIBLE crescent moon shaped burns all on her chin and neck. That scared the crap out of me. LOL
