I tried and tried various things to try to remove the dog hair from my car. I've used my shop vac, Dyson DC15 Animal, lint rollers, brushes, steam cleaning, etc. but I was never able to get it out in a quick or easy manner. I stumbled across a forum where someone said rubber gloves work. So I decided to give it a try.

    great method, it does work! What I use in my shop is a RUBBER  squeegee. 4 in.. and a 45 deg angle on one side. i bought it i n an auto store in a window tinting kit.. it's the only thing efficient that works when your on the clock. Plus saves me a couple bucks on buying gloves.

    While I have not tried rubber gloves, I have had a lot of success using sand paper and a sand paper sponge.

    Great video! I saw elsewhere online that spraying 50/50 water/fabric softener helps neutralize static cling of the hair as well. I'm cleaning out the back of a Subaru Outback Wagon as well. ; ) I'm a Subaru mechanic- just bought one to fix up for my sister.

    Can't thank you enough. After 7 years of accumulating dog hair and several failed attempts of vacuuming and using lint rollers, I left immediately after watching this to the store and bought 4 pairs of the yellow rubber gloves. It took 2 1/2 hours & 2 pairs but my car looks brand new. THANKS!!

    finally- great vid- I have a boxer and her hair is so fine and short and stuck to everything in the back seat and rear of my jeep- thanks for sharing

    Wow, that is so great! I'm definitely going to try it on my car and my husband's car! It kinda makes sense using rubber gloves since it haves elastic fibers that gets stuff stuck to them like velcro! If this works I'll be sure to post this on my facebook profile for others!
