electrolysis is the best! i got rid of my mustache after 5-6 treatments. it doesn't grow back.
ReplyDeleteit hurts though
more than 2 hours
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried on this yet but I tried using a do-it-yourself thing that instead of shave, it pulls out the hair, and it's so damned painful! Now I only use it for a small portion of my face that's not so painful and which is growing less now. So I might scale mine at 11!
ReplyDeleteHow much does this hurt? I want to get my upper lip done but I have a terrible fear of needles, just watching this makes me feel a bit woozy...
ReplyDeletehow many sesions does it take to remove hair definiteve??
ReplyDelete.... about 2 hours probably
ReplyDeletewonder how long one session would take to do the whole face on a guy (beard, mustache, underchin, etc.) so i wouldn't have to shave anymore?
ReplyDeleteShe does approx three injections of a local anesthetic per armpit and/or bikini area. Once that part is over you can't feel a thing. She won't use it in other areas such as the face. The numbing cream only numbs the surface layers of the skin. She trained in Australia with Edna Marshall who only trained nurses in Electrolysis. She's been practicing for over 30 years. I had it done when I was in my 20's. My daughters are now seeing her for treatment. Cheers
ReplyDeleteWhat numbing cream (if it was a cream) did she use?
ReplyDeleteSorry but my electrologist did a whole armpit in 1 hr. Your method looks slow and painful. I am living proof their is a better way than yours. I had my bikini line arm pits and eye brows done 15 years ago and have never had any hair growth in these areas for years - with no scarring and I was really hairy. BTW my electrologist is also a trained nurse and numbs the area being treated.
ReplyDeleteabout a 6-7... in the beginning it was bad, but I think I've gotten used to it
ReplyDeleteOn a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst pain ever), how bad is it?
ReplyDeleteHi, I have plenty of hair on my balls to the point where I have ball cheese and it makes a girl feel like they're licking a double cheese meatball when they suck me. Is this procedure safe enough for pubic places? Thank you!
ReplyDeletewhy can't they use a local anesthetic or something like that so your upper lip is numb and you wont feel anything?
ReplyDeletehair removal trough electrolysis is the ONLEY technique wich efects are permanent!
ReplyDeleteMy electrologist uses the most modern equipment, and it STILL hurts!! Maybe I'm too sensitive
ReplyDeletedoes this work on neck hair in women??
ReplyDeleteis the hair removal permanent?
ReplyDeleteThis seriously doesn't look like a good time lol
ReplyDeletePoor Pam xD
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how i can make sure, when i go to my electrolysis specialist, that they use new/unused needled/probes on me;or do you just sterilize them in between the patients? What should i ask them? I am talking so that i don't catch anything from the needle/probe.The place i found is nice, but still;i don't trust anyone and i don't want to put myself at risk with catching anything. Is there a chance for that?
ReplyDeleteThank you in advance
Yes electrolysis works great! You will need to have a good electrologist work on you though. I suggest you google "Hairtell" and you will find a lot of information on electrolysis. Yes it can be costly depending on how many sessions you need, it takes time, but it is the only guaranteed technique for hair removal and it is permanent. I had laser done and it caused me a lot of problems, i actually had more hair growth with laser, which was very distressing.
ReplyDeleteHay, does it really work? I want some doing, but I'm worried that it will be very expensive. I am quite blonde so laser removal doesn't work :(
ReplyDeletethe cling film is for use with the emla cream. You apply the Emla cream then cover it in cling film for it to activate itself and numb the area before ant work is undertaken.
