  1. After waxing, the hairs grow back and need to grow up to a certain length to be removed again. Hence, you will always experience hair re-growth. With Lumea, the hair re-growth is prevented for you to enjoy smooth hair free skin every day!

  2. Will I ever be able to get rid of the root of the hair like after a wax? Because from what I have understood, Lumea only stops the hair from growing, but the hair is not removed?

  3. With Lumea's high performance lamp, you would never need to replace it or purchase any additional lamps, hence no extra costs.

Unfortunately you cannot use it plugged, so you have to recharge the product before treatment.

  6. I have this and I'd like to use it while plugged in to the charger. Is it possible and why not? It is annoying to stop for an hour recharge every 15 min....

There is no evidence that light-based technology would be unsafe to use there, but we still recommend you not to use the Philips Lumea IPL hair removal system on the scrotum or the anus. This could be painful and not comfortable. If you want to remove hair from the scrotum or anus, we recommend you to use Philips Bodygroom (included in the packaging of Lumea FOR MEN - available only in Spain at this stage).
